Fair Practices Code

Not yet published

How a lender treats borrowers fairly: clear terms, honest communication, respectful recovery and a way to complain.

What this policy is

A fair practices code is a lender’s promise to treat borrowers openly and respectfully. It usually covers clear information before you sign and a written loan agreement. It also covers notice if the terms change, polite recovery, protection of your information and an easy way to complain.

Who it applies to

In India, NBFCs (non-banking finance companies) registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) must follow a fair practices code approved by their board. Other lenders, such as licensed pawnbrokers, follow the rules of their own licence. Treating customers fairly is good practice for every lender.

Where Zera stands today

This website does not describe Zera as registered with, supervised by or approved by the RBI. Zera has not published a Fair Practices Code.

This website shows the main loan terms: rates, loan periods (tenures), loan value, fees and repayment. It says that the figures are indicative (a guide only) and that the final terms are in your signed agreement.
