Vigil Mechanism

Not yet published

What a vigil mechanism is: a way for people to report serious concerns in confidence, without fear of being punished.

What this policy is

A vigil mechanism, also called a whistle-blower policy, lets people tell a business about suspected fraud, dishonesty or misconduct in confidence. It protects those who report in good faith and explains how reports are looked into.

Who it applies to

Under the Companies Act, 2013, some companies must have one. These include listed companies, companies that take deposits from the public and companies with large bank borrowings. It may also apply to some NBFCs (non-banking finance companies) registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Whether it applies depends on the legal form and size of the business. For other businesses it is good practice.

Where Zera stands today

This website does not describe Zera as registered with, supervised by or approved by the RBI, or as a listed company. Zera has not published a Vigil Mechanism policy.

If you have a concern about how Zera or its people have behaved, you can write to support@zerafinance.in or call +91 93603 25702. We will look into every genuine concern.
